Stefano Carotenuto

Designer and street photographer based in Milan.

At the Italian National Research Council (CNR) I work on the digital communication strategy for the Department of Social sciences and humanities, cultural heritage (opens in new tab).

I also contributed to the design of WeMED (opens in new tab), a data platform for exploring socioeconomic indicators across the Mediterranean, developed in collaboration between CNR-ISMed and Istat.

Street photography

When I'm not in front of a screen, I walk and photograph.

My work has been recognised by Magnum photographers Martin Parr and Steve McCurry. I have exhibited at the HistoryMiami Museum during Art Basel Miami and been featured in magazines such as Corriere della Sera Style Magazine.
